In 2020, Serving People began the process of looking for a permanent facility. One year later that dream was fulfilled. Serving People was able to move to a larger location in order to expand our services. Now we are able to offer year round services to the community ranging from FREE Covid testing, FREE clothing and toy giveaways, and FREE cellular phones for qualifying citizens in any government assistance programs. Daily community members stop through inquiring about programs, or how Serving People can be of assistance. Assistance has been given in a variety of ways ranging from temporary housing, resume building, mentoring, and inspirational literature to name a few. Coming soon will be future collaboration with community organizations within the Morgan Park community on Chicago’s far south side.
